Bespoke Planting Schemes
What is a planting scheme?
A planting scheme is a simple, budget-friendly way to transform your garden if you don't need a full-scale garden design but want to drastically improve the look of your garden!
We look at your current flowerbeds and work with you to decide which plants you'd like to keep, then we come up with a comprehensive plan for lots of beautiful new plants which will work especially for your garden and vision. We will ask you what your favourite colours are, what style of gardens you like, wether you'd like high or low maintenance planting and much more.
How are they designed?
We create your bespoke planting scheme by factoring in conditions such as soil type, the size the plants will grow to, year-round interest, different heights and layers in the beds, whether they are easy to maintain, sun, shade, moisture conditions and the overall colour scheme. We provide you with diagrams, plant lists, a detailed presentation and even 3D visualisations of the plan, upon request.
Do you come and plant the plants?
Yes - if you'd like us to!
Once you are happy with the planting scheme, the next stage will be for us to give you a cost for all of the plants. This is still collaborative, and you can keep making amendments to suit your budget.
We can go and buy the plants for you at rock-bottom prices from our trade nurseries, then come and plant your new planting scheme for you, adding compost, fertilizer, any wires needed for climbers etc. We will just charge our usual gardening rate of £30/hour for the planting time. If you'd prefer to plant the plants yourself, then feel free to do that too!
About The Designer
Lottie sene
Lottie formally studied garden design at Sparsholt College, then learnt from the best working at Lord Wandsworth College planting acres of formal gardens. But Lottie really stands out from other garden designers because of her years spent working in real gardens. She knows what works practically rather than just on paper, having maintained countless different gardens over the last decade.
Having worked closely with a landscape specialist in the past, Fran and Lottie have a strong understanding of Landscape architecture, however we also have a trusted network of landscapers readily available for clients looking to completely renovate their garden!

We will create 3D visualisations and photoshop renders of how each area of your new garden will look - before you spend a penny on plants. This means you can be certain on the vision before you go ahead and get planting!

Garden Design Customer Journey
1.Fill in Form
Fill in the design form below so we can find out what you are looking for and get in touch
5. Shake hands and take design payment
Once you are fully happy with your planting scheme, we will invoice for the design time (see prices above).
2.Free Consultation
We will give you a call, then organise a time to come and see your garden and get to know you and your vision!
6. Get quote for plants/labour
If you'd like us to implement your new design for you, now we will add up the cost for labour and materials needed to bring the vision to life.
3. Design stage
Should you want to go ahead, the next stage is for us to go away and come up with a fantastic design for you.
7. Building and planting stage
Now it's the most exciting stage - doing the building work and/or planting time! We remove any old plants you don't want, and carefully plant your new garden.
4. Approve your new design/planting scheme
After a few weeks, we will organise a time to come and talk you through the design we have made for you, and make any amendments.
8. Optional maintenance aftercare
We love to see how the plants mature, and are happy to help maintain your new space for you to enjoy. We offer 24/7 support with any questions about your new plants.
